The ntel network is built on the 900/1800 Mhz, which is recognized as the most widely used frequencies for the deployment of 4G/LTE technology. All the browsing addicted people in Nigeria are anxiously waiting for ntel Advanced 4G/LTE service to be fully functioning in their areas, ntel services are only available in Abuja and some parts of Lagos (Mainland) at the moment, let have hope that very soon, ntel will expand their coverage in Lagos and Abuja, and subsequently to other states, across multiple geo-political zones.
If ntel coverage has reached your area, you have already got your reserved ntel SIM card and a compatible smartphone, Mifi/Modem. The next thing for you is to subscribe, configure your device and start flexing with the high-speed Internet Access up to 230Mbps, which is the fastest speed internet available in Nigeria today.
We all are already familiar with MTN, Etisalat, Glo and Airtel APN configurations. The Nigeria’s most advanced 4G Long Term Evolution(LTE) Network -ntel, also have its own APN Setting which you need to be aware of. But before that, there are some requirements and don't forget that you need 4G enable device.
Requirements
1. Make sure that your cell phone is Flexible Division Duplex (FDD) with support for LTE 3 (1800MHz) and 8 (900MHz) spectrum bands. You can easily find this information on the product packaging or documentation which usually comes with it.
2. You will need to enable 4G services on your device and to do this, simply go to the Mobile Networks on your phone and select Select 4G (recommended) or LTE Only as your preferred network mode.
Now, go to Access Point Names (APN) settings in your device and create a new APN, name it “ntel 4G” or any name of your choice which you can use to identify it. Note that this setting might vary depending on the phone brand you are using. After locating the phone APN, then use the following "configuration" below
Below are the two options which you can use for your ntel manual configuration
Option 1: Ntel 4G APN Internet Settings
Leave other fields in the APN Settings and save your setting, then activate it as your Default or Active APN. After this, start flexing and it should connect, but if after applying the settings above and you still find it difficult to browse with your ntel, then use the second option below.
Option 2: Ntel 4G Internet Settings
