SAMSUNG S5 UI CUSTOM ROM FOR GIONEE P4

We all know it can be quite boring being stuck on the same stock rom like forever infact it can be quite frustrating and irritating( i guess thats why a whole lot of people prefer getting a new phone most times),sometimes we just wished for something a little bit different and without having to get a new phone...

Why will you keep spending lot of precious money buying a new phone gadget when you can simply just tweak the looks and interface of the current device to get at least a feel of the current trending phone and saving yourself some precious change in the processs( doesnt that sound like a cool bargain to you *winks*)

This is where flashing a good custom rom comes into play...

Tested couple of custom roms over and over again and yet going back to the same outcome of returning back to stock rom.. guess my journey also took me to the Samsung s5 ui custom rom.... will probably use it for some couple of weeks before i finally get bored of it or something like that.

STEPS below..



*make a cwm  recovery backup of your current rom{to avoid stories that touches or revert to it back when things go wrong}..

*If you don't know how to flash cwm or backup your rom... Here is a brief tutorial.. :FLASHING A NEW CUSTOM ROM TO YOUR PHONE

*Search for the gionee  p4 recovery.img  and flash cwm recovery to get to recovery mode....or download from here:  GIONEE P4 recovery.img

*follow the usual flashing instructions outlined in the link posted earlier or a brief here.

#Download recovery tools{flasher or RASH} from playstore.

#launch recovery tools and click on flash recovery,  it will go into the SD card to access data on it.. Just scroll to where you placed the gionee p4 recovery.img  and flash it...

**it should boot you into cwm recovery mode where you can now start flashing roms  on the phone or even backup the phone...

NOW TO THE ROM FLASHING PROPER.

*Download the Samsung s5 custom ui  rom  from this link :SAMSUNG S5 UI CUSTOM ROM.ZIP

FLASH IT FROM CWM RECOVERY MODE AND REBOOT.

*Reboot and enjoy the new interface looks like below.

Definitely not a perfect rom but quite smooth and less laggy than the original stock rom plus the cool samsung touchwiz launcher and effects..
