After creating the post on how to back up your entire Android apps and data before flashing a phone or just having a reliable apk+ data backup of files on your phone using Titanium backup app { root access needed}..
Here is the tutorial : BACKUP APPS AND DATA USING TITANIUM BACKUP
Some peeps came to me asking how they are going to go about having a backup of their apk files at least without having to go through the stress of the Titanium backup way plus those are quite not into the prospect or idea of having their precious phone rooted(i still think in most part that rooting the phone is quite harmless though, just a personal thought on that though)
*If you ever change your mind on rooting your phone then here is a step by step rooting tutorial with Kingroot English version that can root your phone in a couple of minutes. EASILY ROOT YOUR PHONE WITH KINGROOT
Well here is an old backup trick for your apps for the newbies that wants to use ES FILE EXPLORER for the app backup..
STEPS INVOLVED....
Download ES FILE EXPLORER from. Playstore...
Launch the App.
If you are on the SD card interface after launching the app like shown above... Just swipe to your right twice to see an image that looks like the below image..(the arrow in the image acts as a pointer to what you should press o or do)
Just as indicated with the arrow... Click on the Apps icon and all your installed apps will be revealed..(NOTE: compared to the Titanium backup app that does both the backup for both your phone intalled apps and data, ES FILE EXPLORER will ONLY backup the apk and not the data files on it)
* Long press on the apps you want to backup and thick the boxes for the apps while the backup options show below the screen.. Just tapped on it like shown in the pics below while trying to backup my Google Chrome app..
And that's pretty much it and you can find the newly backup file apk anytime you need 69 share it or reinstall anytime from the backup folder of your SD card..
And that's pretty much it... Quite easy, straightforward and simple...
