Yet you have a feeling that something is just missing and basically you can get a better value for money with the feel, response and user interface...

Voila,  it is your lucky day because I will explain to you how you can  flash the Samsung s4 UI ROM on your gionee M2 and get the better feel,  ram optimization, great user interface etc..

**INSTALLATION GUIDE USING CTR RECOVERY.

*Download the Gionee M2 recovery.img and flash it using recovery tools  to your phone.
* Boot into Recovery Mode.
     * Click wipe menu
     * Click wipe all data - Preflash
     * Click Factory Reset
     * Click Wipe Cache
     * Click Wipe Dalvic Cache
     * Press the Back Soft Key
     * Click Install zip from SD card
     * Click Choose Zip, to browse SD card. Then
Swipe on sky blue color place, which is on your bottom
right hand corner, to see all your folders and zip files on
SD card.
     * NOW SELECT ROM.ZIP.

-----Then wait for installalation to finish---
     * Click on Reboot. | DONE |

Its quite easy cool and catchy to use... The RAM management is superb and the overall touch response can be said to be quite smoother than the laggy stock rom whereby the ram management does leave quite a lot to desire..

Even though the flashing steps outlined here was for using the Carliv Touch Recovery CTR you can also use other recovery image means like TWRP, COT , or even the more popular Clockwork mode recovery CWM image to do a backup of your current rom before flashing and also use it for installing/flashing the new custom rom itself proper..
