Easy ways to create flashable ZIP file so as to easily install multiple apps on Android

If you've switched ROMs before or flashed quick mods on your Android device, you've probably used TWRP or another custom recovery to install them. But another great purpose for flashing through a recovery is to install your own custom .zip file filled with everything a fresh ROM needs—namely, all your apps.

Flashable .zips may seem like complex files filled with scripts that require years of background knowledge to create, but in reality, they are pretty simple to package yourself.

There is plenty you can do with a flashable .zip, like flash new cameras and backups, but in this guide, I'm going to show you how to create a .zip to install multiple apps (using their .apk files) and a custom boot animation without having to use a root file explorer.

Step 1: Download the Template ZIP

A company called Gadget Lab has produced a very interesting infographic that reveals which mobile browsers are used the most in various countries. For example, in the U.S. it might not be surprising to learn that Safari is responsible for 58.28% of the mobile internet traffic in the country, with Chrome's 31.15% share next. The Android Browser handles 7.72% of U.S. mobile web traffic with less than 1% running through Internet Explorer. The BlackBerry Browser has a 14% share in the U.S. with .03% belonging to Opera.

In other countries, like Brazil, it is Chrome Mobile on top with Safari second. In many locations it is either Safari first with Chrome second, or Chrome first with Safari second. There are some countries where that doesn't apply. Take Jamaica. 43.4% of internet traffic runs through Chrome, while the Android Browser is responsible for 31.03% of mobile web use. In that country, Safari is third with a 19.77% share.

Earlier this month, we told you that Rovio's brand new Angry Birds 2 had hit 20 million downloads worldwide, only one week after being released.

Available since July 30 on iOS and Android, the game has now passed 30 million downloads, and it's shaping up to be one of Rovio's most successful titles to date.

Interestingly, Rovio says that about 10 million Angry Birds 2 downloads come from China. As Rovio previously reported, a "new generation of gamers" is now discovering the addictive nature of Angry Birds in China - where there are more than 700 million smartphone users (a huge growth potential for the Angry Birds franchise, isn't it?).

The N85 was a Symbian-based dual-slider with advanced features - for its time - like HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and a 5 MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens and auto focus.

Sony Xperia M5 price will range between the $400 range

Last week, Sony unveiled two new Android Lollipop smartphones - Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5 - both of which will be available to buy starting later this month (at least in some markets).

While Sony didn't reveal the prices of the two devices, we already heard that the Xperia C5 Ultra would cost around $425 in Hong Kong.

Now, we also have info on the price of the Xperia M5. According to ePrice, the M5 will cost around $408 (12,900 TWD) in Taiwan. The C5 Ultra will be cheaper there, costing around $375 (11,900 TWD). All in all, if we're talking about international markets, the Xperia M5 should cost around $400, while the Xperia C5 will probably be a bit cheaper.

On August 13th, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ will be introduced along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. According to a published report, one of the new features on the Galaxy S6 edge+ takes the "People Edge" that allows you to store up to five contacts on the edge of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, and adds a second similar page for apps. This way, opening one of your five favorite apps is as easy as a quick tap on the edge of the glass.

The "People Edge" also has been updated for the Galaxy S6 edge+. Clicking on a contact will give you six options: calling, video chatting, messaging, emailing, sending a picture, and sending an emoticon. The Galaxy S6 edge allows you to send a message, make a call or send an email.

Angry Birds 2 reaches over 20 million downloads in one week

Available since July 30 on Android and iOS, Angry Birds 2 - the true sequel to the original Angry Birds from 2009 - is definitely a hit. Rovio today announced that the new game has been already downloaded 20 million times.

According to Rovio, Angry Birds 2 is currently the no. 1 iOS game in 100 countries, while also being the most downloaded game on Android. Interesting facts: since the launch of the game, the slingshot in Angry Birds 2 has been used more than 1.4 billion times, and users have completed over 300 million levels.

Rovio says that Angry Birds is hugely popular in the markets where the original game first became a hit, but it's also becoming well-known in China, where "a new generation of gamers" are only now discovering the addictive game. There are more than 700 million smartphone users in China, which means that Angry Birds 2 could soon break new download records.

Click on SEARCH CONSOLE

by the uttermost part of your screen you should see ADD PROPERTY, click on it

Now click or type your website, address in the box that appears

Navigate to Crawl >> Fetch as Google.

go to your page to search for the url link extension of the post you are trying to index as shown below, which you will insert to the missing part in the box as shown in the image above.

How to unbrick your Android devices using Sp flash tools

Due to popular demand and the rate at which peeps seems to be bricking their phones nowadays.. Had to go and bring back this old article on how to unbridled your mediatek mtk Android devices with the use of Sp flash tools.

REQUIRED TOOLS.

USB data cable

MediaTek USB VCOM drivers{Google the download links}

SP Flash Tool ( Latest version MTK Flash Tool v. 5.1343.01 (18.10.2013)){get the updated versions online}

First of all, make sure that you have MediaTek DA USB VCOM drivers installed.

And you might have to manually drive the mediatek vcomm devices to your hardware programs.. {steps.... START==CONTROL PANEL==DEVICE MANAGER==MANUALLY ADD NEW DEVICE AND SELECT THE MTK VCOMM DRIVER

**Flashing the whole ROM

First of all open SP Flash Tool, then click Scatter-loading button to load the correct scatter file
(MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt or MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt, depending on which phone you have) for your device and ignore any message that may appear.

Turn off your phone, remove the battery and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).

Press F9 (or hit Download button) and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
The process will start and a red progress bar will appear.

After the red progress bar is complete, there will appear a purple progress bar.

Right after the purple progress bar is complete, a message will appear underneath it:
“Please insert USB cable in x seconds” and then the download will start right away (you will see the yellow progress bar filling up).

When the yellow bar is complete, you'll get a popup with a green circle and Download OK message,
which means that the process has been successfully terminated.

You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on. The process ends here.

Flashing only part of the ROM

In case you want to flash just one part of the ROM, that is also possible. In the shown example, only recovery image will be flashed.
Deselect all parts except the one(s) you want to flash and then press F9 (or hit Download button).

The tool will immediately show a warning because not all parts are selected, but you should continue anyway. Safely press Yes to continue.

The download of the chosen partition image will start and after the yellow bar is complete, the popup with the green circle should appear.

Please note that, even though it isn't mandatory to select it on the list of images to flash,
preloader file must be present in the same folder as the other partition(s) that you want to flash, or else phone will not be able to enter into download mode.

Attention: Please follow the instructions carefully. I will not take any responsibility on whatever may happen with your phone.

Very important warning: Always make sure that you trust the sources of the ROM you download and know that it is meant for your phone.
After flashing a wrong preloader, your phone will be completely dead (can't be powered on, it will not charge and won't be detected anymore by the computer) and there is no way to recover it.
