UNLIMITED BROWSING AND DOWNLOADING WITH PSIPHON 86HANDLER USING MTN {part 2 reloaded}

Couple of weeks back we talked about how to use Psiphon  for free browsing on the Etisalat network and of course the response was mixed but those that did according to instructions enjoyed it...

This time around we are back with using it on MTN  network and I must say it is quite more impressive than using MTN with  simple server which is still quite working perfectly by the way.

Back to the topic,  using Psiphon  with MTN...

STEPS::::


*Download the Psiphon 86Handler apk  from here: PSIPHON 86HANDLER UI

*Goto your Android settings and Set the following parameters as new access point :

APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Proxy: 127.0.0.1
Port: 8080

**Now Open Psiphon VPN and set up the parameters as follows:

FROM FIRST SCREEN THAT LOOKS LOL AN OPERA HANDLER OF OLD


SCROLL TO: Tick Remove Port

Proxy type: Real host

PROXY server:server4.operamini.comReal proxy type: HTTP

Scroll down AND click on Save.

After saving,


Region Select United States as region

Tick Tunnel whole device.{especially for rooted phones so you won't need autoproxy  to power all your apps cos it automatically starts working with this option}


** After that Click on Option=>

**Click on  "More option" by the middle left side of your  screen

**Now configure the next parameter as follows:

**Tick Vibrate

**Tick connect through an HTTP

**Select "USE THE FOLLOWING SETTINGS"

** Now Insert Host Address: 10.199.212.2

Port: 8080

AND THATS ALL.. IT SHOULD NOW BE CONNECTED NOW AND YOU CAN SEE THE DATA STATS UNDER THE STAT OPTION AS SHOWN BELOW..

This is meant to be an answer to those who ain't able to configure simple server for one reason or the other especially the autoproxy aspect...

I  can assure you that this is far better, easier and more effective.. So why not give it a try...
