there is no bigger fun or joy than when you have the luxury of changing the User interface of your android device anytime you like, especially when you know that being permanently stucked on the stock rom can be quite BORING at times.. We all want a new feel of the latest device and specs or interface of the latest trend in town but unfortunately its not like its everyonw that can afford the
.luxury of the prices that will be attached to that

Here is where the intrduction of using a customised rom from another phone model comes into play and you being able to flash it in order to make it compartible with your own android device.

Noobs... Stay Out...

There is nothing more fun than having the chance of changing the feel of your phone without having to get a new one..

Better value for money I guess when you ain't stuck on a stock rom  which  can be boring and also ram optimization might not be cool..

So why not try a better rom

What does the material v3 rom have in store for gionee  p4 and Walton primo GH2 users..

*modded like the Android L  os [though it's still KK]
*better ram optimization
*better battery backup
*smooth integration..
*nice interface with the follow come Nova modded launcher
*great display.
*cool camera display
*Viper for Android activated for better sound quality.

Over-all it's a much more better rom than the stuck rom and it's also pimped with xda functions and support.

**NEEDED FILES>>

* A gionee p4 or walton primo gh2 recovery.img

*Recovery tools or Mobileuncle tools app from Playstore(In order to flash the recovery.img

*the Flashable zip file of the desired Custom rom which in this particular case in Material V3 rom

More pics below...

PROCEDURE INVOLVED

*Place the downloaded recovery.img file in the root of your SD card(meaning not inside any foder)

*Open Recovery tools app and click on Recovery From Storage it will go into the root your SD card showing all files and folders present, so you can just scroll down to find where the recovery.img  you placed is and click on it.

*You will get a prompt asking if you wanna flash recovery to phone.. Choose Yes and also choose yes whenever it ask to Reboot phone in Recovery

NOTE: To make things easier ensure that the Gionee P4 Stock Kitkat flashable rom is already placed beforehand in either the root of the SD card or a folder in the SD card than can be easily accessed or remembered.

ONCE YOU ARE IN THE CLOCKWODE MODE RECOVERY SCREEN...

**You can Navigate or move up and down with the up and down volume keys..

**Choose/Confirm your selection with the Power button.

**Wipe User data/ Factory Reset

**Wipe cache partition

**Go to Advance option and wipe dalvic cache alongside the Battery stat

**Go back to the main menu of The clockwork mode recovery and select the option of Install Zip from SD card..

**Locate where you placed the stock kitkat rom flashable zip.

**Click on Install on it

**Then wait while the rom automatically starts installing(although some times you might need to follow the onscreen confirmation instructions before the rom finalizes installation..

After installation is complete the phone will reboot by itself and might take a while for it to finally boot to the homescreen of the new kitkat rom (but dont fret and just wait it out even while its showing the phone logo)

For those who don't know how to flash a ROM.. You can find the steps in previous post on this blog pertaining to gionee  p2  and follow the same steps..
